Not necessarily to get some fresh air, but rather to find your way to of one of the many marketing conferences, whether it&#8217;s B2B related or not, especially since the pace of changes we face in 2018 has never been faster. Lectures can be the ticket; providing the winning combination in terms of training and inspiration.<\/p>\n<p>Here\u2019s a short list of events with a brief description, both North American or European, with high-level speakers. Note that there will be no shortage of Quebec events on the subject, specifically <a href=\"https:\/\/www.lesaffaires.com\/evenements\/conferences\/marketing-b2b\/595915\">Les Affaires<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/conferences.infopresse.com\/detail\/2018\/02\/21\/marketing-b2b\">Infopresse.<\/a> To those who can afford it, here is a list of places to attend and network with colleagues from all sources, which in itself, is worth almost half the value of the conference!<\/p>\n<p>Surely, you\u2019ll agree, some cities are very attractive, more so than Montreal with its slush in the winter and orange cones in the summer&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><strong>B2B Marketing Ignite\u00a02018<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Ignite conference is organized by B2B Marketing, an organization created in 2004 as an expertise center for marketers specializing in B2B. It\u2019s also a strong website and blog for their regularly renewed content. The conference will take place this year at the Business Design Center on July 10 in London.<\/p>\n<p>Ignite is more than 1 000 marketers under one roof; a true networking experience. It \u2018s also offering six content themes, seven keynote speakers and an all-around great networking opportunity: Ignite 2018 evening.\u00a0The six topics will have an ABM theme or, &#8221; Account based Marketing &#8220;; leadership, commitment, customer experience, technology and glances at &#8220;insights&#8221;, but clearly, ABM will be the featured theme. At the moment, the speakers are not yet announced, but in short, a good conference in the marketing field to attend, even though it\u2019s in London and as everyone knows, we lose out with the exchange rate and the cost of living&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>At Exo, we have a weakness for the Arizona sun&#8230; and for the conference:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.b2bmarketing.exchange\/\"><strong>B2B Marketing Exchange<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p>This is an annual conference that took place earlier this week in Scottsdale, Arizona, from February 19 to 21, under the hashtag <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/search?q=%23B2BMX.&amp;src=typd\">#B2BMX.<\/a> Several &#8220;stars&#8221; and influencers of B2B marketing were there, such as <a href=\"https:\/\/go.forrester.com\/blogs\/author\/laura_ramos\/\">Laura Ramos<\/a> from Forrester, <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/search?q=%23B2BMX.&amp;src=typd\">Brian Solis<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/leeodden?lang=fr\">Lee Odden<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/rebeccalieb.com\/blog\">Rebecca Lieb<\/a>, <strong>Pam Didner<\/strong>, <strong>James Taylor<\/strong>, <strong>Paul Peterman<\/strong> from Facebook and many others. To get to know them better, take a look at some interviews on the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.demandgenreport.com\/blog\">DemandGen<\/a> blog that organizes this annual gathering.<\/p>\n<p>At this conference, there are also many questions about ABM, in fact, there is a lot of \u2018buzz\u2019 surrounding this topic. Here is one of the titles: &#8220;ABM Beyond The Hype: What High Growth Organizations Do differently&#8221;. It\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.b2bmarketing.exchange\/agenda\/\">an overview of the agenda<\/a> and here are two tweets from Laura Ramos, who is <em>the<\/em> specialist. Obviously, Forrester is very interested in the subject:<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-20606 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/exob2b.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/02\/zbm-ramos.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"643\" height=\"549\" data-wp-pid=\"20606\" srcset=\"https:\/\/exob2b.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/02\/zbm-ramos.jpg 643w, https:\/\/exob2b.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/02\/zbm-ramos-300x256.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 643px) 100vw, 643px\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-20618\" src=\"https:\/\/exob2b.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/02\/odden.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"675\" height=\"560\" data-wp-pid=\"20618\" srcset=\"https:\/\/exob2b.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/02\/odden.jpg 675w, https:\/\/exob2b.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/02\/odden-300x249.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 675px) 100vw, 675px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Of course, Lee Odden was on site and lectured on Millennials.<\/p>\n<p>But the conference that seems to have impressed the most is that of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.briansolis.com\/category\/articles\/\">Brian Solis<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-20617\" src=\"https:\/\/exob2b.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/02\/solis.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"653\" height=\"550\" data-wp-pid=\"20617\" srcset=\"https:\/\/exob2b.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/02\/solis.jpg 653w, https:\/\/exob2b.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/02\/solis-300x253.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 653px) 100vw, 653px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The closing conference: &#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.b2bmarketing.exchange\/2017-speakers\/james-taylor\/\">Creativity: The New Marketing Imperative in The Age Of Artificial Intelligence<\/a>&#8221; by James Taylor, is another topic &#8220;trend&#8221; that will be discussed further&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>Some other important conferences not to be missed this year are:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.thecontentmarketingacademy.co.uk\/2018\/\"><strong>CMA Live<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p>This conference will be held in Edinburgh, Scotland, on June 6 and 7, with lead figures Chris Brogan and <a href=\"https:\/\/annhandley.com\/\">Ann Handley<\/a>. The programming of this conference is not yet available. Note that this conference is organized by the Content Marketing Academy.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.contentmarketingworld.com\/\"><strong>Content Marketing World 2018<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p>This is another of the essentials in the world of marketing, specifically dedicated to content. It will be held from September 4 to 7, 2018 in Cleveland, Ohio, with many content marketing lecturers, including Joe Pulizzi, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.convinceandconvert.com\/blog\/\">Jay Baer<\/a>, Ann Handley (she&#8217;s everywhere!), <a href=\"https:\/\/marketinginsidergroup.com\/author\/mbrenner\/\">Michael Brenner<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/heidicohen.com\/\">Heidi Cohen<\/a>, Carla Johnson, Lee Odden, <a href=\"https:\/\/b2bmarketingacademy.com\/member\/peg-miller\/\">Peg Miller<\/a> and our very own, Mitch Joel. The 4th edition will take place like the others before it did, at the Boston Westin Waterfront from May 2-4, 2018. Artificial Intelligence is at the heart of all conversations and of all strategies, including those in marketing. Here is a conference that has the advantage of directly addressing marketers.<\/p>\n<p>Too bad we don\u2019t have a conference with such caliber here in Montreal, given the important hub that exists here. Yes, there are lectures on AI, but not strictly from the perspective of marketing. I invite you to <a href=\"https:\/\/exob2b.com\/videos-marketing-b2b\/\">view our videos with Alain Th\u00e9riault and S\u00e9bastien Provencher from Element AI<\/a>, which deal with the growing importance of AI on marketing.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/mpb2b.marketingprofs.com\/\"><strong>MarketingProfs&#8217; B2B Marketing Forum<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Who doesn\u2019t know MarketingProfs and their iconic figure Ann Handley (yes, her again!). There is little information available at the moment on the conference site that will take place, but it is expected to be at the Marriott Marquis in San Francisco from November 13 to 16.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/b2bmarketingleaders.com.au\/\"><strong>B2B Marketing Leaders<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p>You want a good change of scenery? Then this conference is for you!
